Jestem Amerykaninem polskiego pochodzenia, który nie ma obecnie zbyt wielu informacji, gdy mój pradziadek przybył tu w Stanach Zjednoczonych. Wiem, że urodził się w 1879 r. W Biedaczowie, a jego zawód był "kamienną ostrzarką", a nazywał się Francis Mach (ur. Żonaty Catherine Mary Gut (ur. 8/7/1877) i raz w Ameryce osiadł w Auburn NY. To jest granica tego, co wiemy, i nie mam tutaj kontaktu z rodziną, która może mi pomóc. Miałem nadzieję, że ktoś może mieć jakieś (lub jakiekolwiek) informacje na temat rodziny Machów w okolicach Biedaczowa pod koniec XIX wieku.

I'm an American of Polish descent who does not currently have much information beyond when my great-grandfather arrived here in the United States.  I know he was born in 1879 in Biedaczow, his listed profession was 'stone sharpener', and that his name was Francis Mach (b. 8/4/1879 - d. 4/16/1920).  He Married Catherine Mary Gut (b.8/7/1877) and once in America they settled in Auburn NY.  That's the limit of what we know, and I don't have any contact with extended family here that can help me learn more.  I was hoping someone might have some (or any) information on the Mach family in & around the Biedaczow area in the late 1800's.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Your great-grandfather's birth record shoud be available in National State Archive in Rzeszów. They are storing vital book 1871-1912 (births) from Biedaczów.Please notice, that Biedaczów residents attended to RC Church in Giedlarowa at that time. Do you have any information about Franciszek's parents ?  His passenger list doesn't contain information who stayed in Biedaczów ? Surname MACH is origin from Żołynia town, but very common in whole area today. Catherine's surname GUT is common in Giedlarowa.
